Circumnavigate Green island in Moreton Bay
This trip is limited to those who already have some experience kayaking (i.e. not complete beginners), have reasonable skills, and have demonstrated on the river that they can use a skirt and do an assisted rescue.
This trip requires a high tide to cross the banks and see turtles.
Distance: 12-15 km
Paddling time: approximately 3 hrs of paddling
Tides: 11 AM (high).
On the water: 9 AM
Poor weather: the trip will go to nearby Tingalpa creek.
