The beginning of semester come and try day is scheduled for Saturday 31 July, between 8:00 AM and 12 AM. Prospective members are encouraged to come.

Polo finished for the semester
Canoe polo has finished for semester one. It will restart weekly next semester following two weeks of general pool training.
Indooroopilly River race (15km)
The indooroopilly canoe club is holding a 15 km race from Wivenhoe dam to Twin Bridges (upper Brisbane river) on 20th June 2010.

2010 AGM
The 2010 Annual General Meeting will be held at the club shed at 5:30 PM on Wednesday 2nd of June. We need many financial members to come along to this important annual meeting.
Club champs Sem1 2010
This year’s club championships are on Saturday afternoon of 29 May at the shed. Fantastic Prices courtesy of Rosco canoes. It will be a fun day with sprints, novelty races and relays, as well as a barbecue at the end. There are also restricted categories for the beginners.
Whitewater surf training
An introductory whitewater surf skills day at Snapper rocks, Currumbin, or Tweed heads, depending on conditions.
South Stradbroke weekend
An overnight camping sea kayak trip to South Stradbroke Meander on the weekend of the 15th and 16th May
New boat try out
We plan to have five different sea kayaks at the shed by 9am on next Saturday 8th and
we would like interested members to come down, try them out and tell us what they
think of them.
