A year ago today the club returned to the water following the devastating floods of January 2011.
Initially only previous members were allowed to rejoin. A river paddle let us inspect the damage to the riverbanks up close from the water for the first time. Only a very limited number of boats were available, including a number kindly lent to us by Queensland canoeing.
