There is a BBQ as part of the Come N Try day. All members are invited to come and enjoy the first social event of the year. Bring a friend who you think might like to join the club.
It’s on Saturday 24 Feb from 7.30am to ~9.30am at the UQ Canoe Club sheds. Please get there at 7 AM to help prepare and organise things.
You may like to help out by introducing new members to the club sheds; or
help new paddlers get into a boat for the first time; or stand by for
rescue operations and crowd control on the water; or maybe you’d prefer
to assist with the gourmet BBQ breakfast cooking. It’s all fun.
Come N try day is free for current members or $5 for non-members.
